New Western Cuisine Magazine's Food & Beverage Forum & Awards Banquet

October 17, 2013 witnessed one of the fairest and most dignified nationwide culinary competitions in China. Out of the 50 New Western Cuisine 2013 "Outstanding Chefs", 12 finalists convened at the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing for the 3-hour championship round to vie for the 5 "Chef par Excellence" Awards.  1421 Wines was one of the sponsors and during the Food & Beverage Forum, Randy Lee Svendsen and Ashley Gao presented the significance of 1421 wines being "The First Traceable Chinese Wines in the World".  Over 180 distinguished guests attended the Awards Banquet that followed the culmination of the cooking competition, with the 12 finalists cooking with 1421 wines.  During the reception and the dinner, over 200 bottles of 1421 wines were consumed by this happy group celebrating culinary excellence together.
